Open faculty position: Assistant Professor in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program

Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Program, beginning August, 2018. The position requires a Ph.D. from an I-O psychology program. An ideal candidate will complement and strengthen the current areas of expertise in the program, with preference for research in test theory, measurement, and methodology. Faculty activities include establishing an independent research program, research mentoring, and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The I-O program has a close relationship with the Center for Research and Service, which is an on-site consulting center that supports training, funding, and research efforts of students and faculty and draws on our close affiliations with industry in the city and suburbs.

The Department of Psychology has three scientist-practitioner graduate programs, in Clinical Psychology, I-O Psychology, and Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, as well as a growing undergraduate program. Faculty and students work in a collaborative atmosphere both within and between programs.
